Who Are We?

We are Nicola McIlhagger and Angela Hunter, the co-founders of the Cinch FAST 30 – Intermittent Fasting program – to help you lose weight and improve your health. 

We create 30-day programs to help people live happier, healthier lives. 

We understand the importance of education in helping people make informed choices about their wellbeing and that being part of a community can make all the difference to you achieving your goals. We hold 30-day challenges, events, we actively encourage meet-ups, regular Zoom meetings for motivation and participation in the online support groups.

We are not health professionals or nutritionalists (nor do we claim to be!) our mantra is simple – change the timing of your meals and count the goodness in food, not the calories! 

Since we launched our first programme Cinch Fast 30 on the 1st May 2021, we have helped support over 1,500 people to lose weight.

More recently, we have launched a Soberish Challenge to help people improve their relationship with alcohol!

Whilst Intermittent Fasting is regarded widely as one of the most effective ways for boosting your health and managing weight – we recognise that it is NOT for everyone, and you must seek medical advice if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.

Hello! I’m Angela Hunter, a mum of two who hit the big 4-0 in the crazy year of 2020 – you know, the year of lockdowns and unexpected challenges!

As if that wasn’t enough, I found myself carrying an extra stone of weight, adding to the decade-long struggle I’d been facing. It was a wake-up call – a now-or-never moment to reclaim my health. That’s when I stumbled upon Intermittent Fasting, inspired by a friend who shed an impressive 2 stone 10 pounds while still indulging in her favourite foods.

Intrigued by the possibilities, I delved deeper, and within three years, I’ve shed 26 pounds and feel like a whole new person.

Now, we are bringing our knowledge and experience on a new journey, a 30 Day Alcohol Free challenge. This is for anyone who wants to improve their relationship with alcohol, is sober curios and wants to take a break. 

It is my mission, alongside my partner in crime, Nicola, is to share our journey with you and help you embark on your own transformational path.

I am Nicola McIlhagger, 48, and mum to Nina.

Eating well has always been very important to me.

I have endometriosis and an under-active thyroid and am heading down the slippery path towards menopause.

I feel the best way for me to help take control of my health is by keeping my body fit and functioning to the best of my ability.

Intermittent Fasting has allowed me to shed the excess weight and most importantly  feel that I have less pain, more energy and am sleeping better.

I am excited to bring our new Alcohol Free course to fruition. This has been a 3-year labour of love and we truly believe has the power to transform lives.

down fat and how to maximise this
